JOHNNY SCOTT

Very little is known about Scotsman Johnny Scott.

He was only on board between February 19-24, 1970, during the test transmissions. It was thought he was a night club DJ and was working in Holland at the time and talked his way into being hired by Messrs Meister & Bolier.

The last sighting of him on the Mebo II was reported by Andy Archer as he arrived on board and spotted a very green looking Johnny heading towards the tender!

Just what happened to him thereafter, no-one knows.
