haven't been able to find out much about Mark Stuart, real name Mel
Bowden.
He joined RNI in June 1971, from BBC Radio Brighton as a replacement for Tony Allan. His first broadcast was on June 17th. He left RNI in October 1971, in protest at the sacking of his friend Crispian St.John, returning to BBC radio Brighton.. Mark's last show was on October 20, 1971. He later found fame and fortune as the boss
of electronics company MBI, who produced studio |

mixing desks for the local radio industry in the 80's, amongst the best mixing desks ever made to this day. He is now a tennis coach. |
