ROGER KENT

Very little is known of Roger Kent.

He joined Radio Northsea International in early 1974 and his first programme was heard between 0200-0400 CET on February 16th.

He had been a disco DJ in the London area, which he returned to after RNI. Nothing more is known of him.

Hans Knott, who met Roger onboard the Mebo II in 1974 describes him as "a shy guy, who was very laid back, but had a good presentation style.

I haven't been able to find out much of what Roger has done after he left RNI. In 2004 Hans, on behalf of one of the readers of his reports raised the question "where is he now" and in his November 2004 reproduced this email from a Peter Ford (who worked briefly on RNI in 1974): "I have been in touch with Roger until earlier Christmas last year, when he moved house & I lost track of him. He was doing well & has worked many years in London nightclubs with Brian McKenzie & still does discos".
