STEVE KING

It is believed that Steve joined RNI from the biscuit factory network UBN famous in the 70's for
the great talent it had.

He replaced Mark Slate, but he lasted for only eleven days, leaving because of constantly being seasick. He was first heard on February 25,1973, During this programme he was sea-sick and after the first half-hour his show was taken over by Ian Anderson. Steve's last show was transmitted on March 8, 1973.

In 1974 he joined ILR service Metro Radio in Newcastle were he stayed until the late 1970's. He changed his name at some point to Steve Wells and worked at Capital Gold in the early 90's. Nothing more is known.

And that's it. If you know anymore or have a picture of Steve, I'd love to hear from you. My email address is colin@quizquest.fsnet.co.uk
